My son Harry is starting 1st grade this year! So I am very excited to make a layout with his picture with his teacher on the first day of school. I want to use the apple and pencil shapes in the layout to make a great school-theme scrapbook page. Thank you! :)

My daughter just started preschool…I can think of two reasons to use the cartridge: One would be a layout with her and her teachers and the classroom for her scrapbook. The other would be to loan it to her teachers along with my extra Cricut (I just upgraded to the expression) and let them use the Cricut and this cartridge for school-related things (bin labels, vocabulary pictures, wall/hallway decorations, creative projects, etc.)…I just know the teachers would LOVE it! THANKS!!! :)

This cartridge would get a lot of use from me, thier are so many possiblities. One of my closest friends is also my daughters bus driver, I am always looking for little things, that are decorated with a bus, to give her. Also my 3 daughters and I would use it to create teachers gifts this holiday season. Last year we made an apple banner using my cricut expression for a teacher that has had my two oldest as students and also owns an apple orchard. This year I’m sure we will come up with something just as fun.

I have twin girls. When we moved they had to ride the bus to school for the first time. I want to cut the school bus out and put their first grade picture in the windows and on the opposite page, I have a picture of them standing at the bus stop. I would like to make a bus stop sign and the scenery around.

I just organized my daughter’s pics chronologically–a HUGE job. So now I am ready to start scrapbooking and the LockerTalk cartridge would be perfect to use for pages of her elementary school days.

OH, i’m so excited – I never win anything, but the possibilty and the anticipation is part of the fun. This cartridge has a lot of personality. With two daughters, i have a lot of scrapbooking yet to do – i would for sure put this cartridge to good use on their school albums. I also have several friends who would be very jealous if I received a free cartridge….Happy Scrapping!!!!

I can think of all kinds of projects where I would use the Cricut Locker Talk cartridge!

Of course, the first thing that comes to mind are all those first day of school pictures that I need to get into the scrapbook albums (I have a preschooler and sixth grader).

I also think it would be fun to use this cartridge to make die cuts as presents for their teachers. Their teachers could use them to decorate their classrooms. Also, it would be great to use it to put together an album (or decorate a picture frame) as an end of the school year thank you gift. I can think of more ideas, but I had better stop!!!

Thanks to you (and to Scrapbook Farm) for the opportunity to win this prize!

My husband and son have gone to Haiti before on Mission trips, and it is now considered a fourth world country because it is so poor. Our family “adopted” 2 children from Haiti, meaning we send money each month to provide food, medical attention, schooling, and clothing for a boy and girl. This summer, we received their updated pictures and report cards. They both did so well, I would like to send them a little booklet congratulating them on their success in school, as well as showing them a little about what school is like in the United States. (I work in a public Elementary School in NC). This cartridge has just the tools I need in order to make a colorful and informative booklet for these young children. I’m sure it will be something they have never seen, and it will thrill them!!

PS – If you would also like to sponser a child, it’s only $25 a month per child. They will send you pictures and updates on how “your child” is doing. Contact Haiti Outreach Ministries at HaitiOutreach@earthlink.net or HOM, c/o Ruby Butler, 3100 Glenoa Rd, Richmond, VA 23223.

Since i missed the boat on making scrapbooks for my 4 children when they were little I decided to make them now to pass on to my 10 grandchildren. I would love to use this cartridge to design pages highlighting their school pictures year by year, starting with preschool, as well as all of the activites they were involved in….basketball, soccer, iceless hockey, dance, altar service, modeling…and so much more:) The prom pictures, the homecoming dances and the graduations are just a few more of the special events that I would like to share with them. Like most other mothers, I still have pieces of artwork and homework to include in those books also! The more I write the more I realize how big a project I am undertaking! LOL

I should be the winner for many, many reasons! I am a mother of three wonderful children, one who was born 3 weeks ago. I am also a school teacher. I love to make scrapbook pages of my son and his friends in 1st grade. Another thing I do every year, is make a scrapbook about each students first year in school. If I won I would be able to make better scrapbooks at home and school, and save time and money. Thank you for your time! Hope to hear from you soon!!

I love the cricut. My son is at the age of doing school projects and this would be a great asset. My sister who also owns a Cricut is a teacher and we share our cartridges. I like to use the cricut to make party decorations, party favors and treats for my son’s class. I also use the cricut to make cards. I hope to be able to get back into scrapbooking with the cricut. The possibilities are endless with the cricut.

Hi, I am trying to learn my new cricut but do better with hands on learning LOL. I want to start cutting frames (schoolbook cartridge) but I am not sure how to measure it?? Like, My card being 3×5, how do I make the frame 2×4. Do I only have the option of cutting a complete square? Do I need to use the center point? I think I need to take a class! This is crazy but if someone could call me, I would greatly appreciate it. I have the cricut expression. Thanks Tonya

I may to be late for this free cart, but here goes. I am a scrapbooker and card maker. I am sight impaired and have difficulty cutting paper to continue doing what I love, my hubby bought me a cricut and it is so helpful. Don’t know what I did before.
I would love the cart, to make the scrapbook for my daughters school yrs scrapbook.
Thanks and Good Luck to everyone
